Eugene "Gene" Hamlin

Carver

Gene Hamlin, father of Dick Hamlin were from Topinabee Michigan. The Hamlins were Potawatomi Native Americans who guided fisherman who came to stay a the hotel on Mullet Lake. Both Dick and Gene made their own lures and decoys and were revered as the best fishing guides in Northern Michigan's Lower Peninsula.
