This spear was found in a antique shop in St. Genevieve, Missouri in late 2008.
It is hand constructed with a heavy broom handle with 3 strong tines. It is to large to be a gig stick that is normally found in the Midwest. Definitely handmade and estimated to be circa 1930s or 40s.
Tines are 3 1/2" wide x 6" long
Overall length is 54"
