This is a Creek Chub Injured Minnow Decoy with a Red Wing Blackbird pattern, Glass eyes and metal fins. This is considered to be one of the most rare of the Creek Chub decoys. this was made between the 1920's and 30's. the factory took the body of a Injured Minnow model #1500 and added the metal dorsal, lateral and tail fins. The body total length is 4.25" from end of tail to the nose. the wood body is just over 3.5" and the side are flat and the width is .75". This could have been a special order or short run or just mayby a one of a kind.
