Kool – when you build them bigger, then you will spear bigger fish, but I want to know how your are going to get the decoy through the ice hole to be able to attract that big fish, not to mention how you will get the big fish out through that little hole.
Good luck and send picture of the big fish when you spear it.

Larry I have a really big dark house with an enormous winch. After I spear the fish I drag it to shore with a d-9 Cat. down the trench I dug in the ice with a trencher. Needless to say a fish that big is pretty tough, so the Cat. just keeps right on pulling when it gets to shore. Makes a little mess with all the ice that gets heaved up but it's worth it I guess? Here in Minnesota a person can only keep one Northern over 30" in your limit so I try to get my freezer stocked up early just in case the ice goes to heck. You otta see my spear!!!!!!!! Jay
Final thoughts - Is Jay from Minnesota or Texas - now that is a whopper of a fish story.
