John's first whimsical frog and he also included a small fish with it as a gift to me, which I thank John here for that thoughtfulness. 

John's frog is quite unique as critters go with it protuberant cats eye marbles for eyes to the expressive red metal lips - a sure way to either attract the big one or scare all the fish away.

One unique feature of the carving is the small fish that ac complied the frog. John said that this is the left over wood from between the legs of the frog. Now that sounds like something Otis Lael would do.  None the less, the two items have taken center stage in my collection to be shown over and over and to tell the story of a fugal man that uses all the wood.
