This is #8-2007 Plaque

The fish was carved on old wood over 80 years old. The wood came from an old lumber yard that my grandfather tore down when I was a young boy. He then use some of the wood to build a new home garage. After retiring from the USAF I returned to the home that I grew up in and when it was time to fix the roof on that old garage - well I saved some of that old wood and used in to make this plaque. This plaque is 15" long and 9" tall and 3/4" thick. The fish is 8 1/4" long. Carved in 2007 and is my 8th carving and first plaque.  I got the idea from a plaque that I received from Darrin Kvam of Askov Minnesota.

I truely enjoyed making this plaque.
