Everette Theodore Peterson (1914-2002) and Soren Hansen(1901-1979) were founders of the Bar Lake Fishing Tackle Company of Manistee Michigan. In the 1930s they created the Kingfish ice fishing decoy, which is one of the more highly sought after collectibles of commercially made ice fishing decoys. The company failed sometime in the 40s.It is reported that Bar Lake manufactured less than 3000 KingFish decoys.
