Jeff Faigley was born in 1976 and is from Lancaster Ohio and has been doing woodworking since he was 10 years old where he helped in his dad's workshop. 

Jeff likes to do both Folk Art and Realistic Paint Jobs, some have more detailed carving than others. His Decoys are made from a block of wood, the are hand carved, have lead belly weights, some painted and some glass eyes. Jeff hand paints his decoys. Some are for decoration and some are actually usable.

Jeff tells me he does not belong to any decoy organizations and does not do competitions. (note - if he did, he would wind -ldc) He was the youngest artist ever to be invited to display in the ArtWalk of the Lancaster Festival when he was in the eight grade. 

From Jeff's own words "I do it because I truly enjoy wood carving." 

Jeff's dad, Don, also makes some spearing decoys and ice fishing decoys.
