Earl H. Kielmeyer (1902-1984)

Carver

Earl Kielmeyer born in 1902 and was of Fairbault Minnesota. It is reported that Earl made thousands of fish decoys. You can see more about him in the Petersen Book on Page 56 & 123. Also in The Fish Decoy #II book on page 30 & 101.  His decoys are normally in a sucker form, but he did carve other fish. His tail is the key identifier of his fish. The Red/White was his key colors and when he did deviate from the RED/WHITE his subdued colors were close to the fish itself.
