Leonard Nelson is from Manton or Lake City, Michigan (Near Cadillac). I believe his birth year is 1946. I have also been told that he is not related to Jim Nelson.  He signs his work with Sven Leonard Nelson. This picture was taken in 2000 by Mike Hale.
