Sheila told me that "I recently came across a picture of the Gray Comma butterfly on the web site of Bev Wigney. She does beautiful wildlife photography. Thank you Bev for allowing me to copy some of your photoes. The Gray Comma was one of my favorites. I was taken by the lacy appearance of the wings as well as it's beautiful coloring. This butterfly is described as "dancing" about in the forest. What better name could I give to this fragile beauty.
"Dancer" is three inches long with a wing spread of 5 inches. Weight is slightly over 1/2 oz. He sports glass hat pin style eyes and gold Eagle Claw hooks. This lure was created for the collector. It is signed and dated 2006 as a numbered as #1.
