The pen body is made from Celluoid and the decorative exterior parts are brushed satin titanian for durability and estistic value. it is a twish pen.  Celluoid is the same material type that the old time Sheaffer Fountain pens were made from. It is a type of plastic. The wood is a Manzanita Root which was hand cut, sanded, polished and fishined with the friction wax.
