Carl Christiansen's work is some of the best artisic and craftman folk art styles that I have seen - his decoys as well as his fish them decorative items are worth the high asking prices and should be kept for their beauty and workmanship. Truely art.

Vase is carved fro a single piece of wood and consists of a carving of a Sunfish, Perch and Rock Bass. 7 1/4" High, Fish have Glass Eyes and is signed by Carl Christiansen from U.P. of Michigan.

Note: I believe that this was completed in 2005.

Shelf was completed by Carl's brother and the fish was carved by Carl. A very nice combined effort showing the continued talent of the Christiansens.

16" High x 23" Wide x 6" Deep

Appears to be made of Pine and the grain is highlighted by burning. It was bought in Sept 1988 by Vasilios "Bill" Kosman from Frank Baron will sell again after years with Mr. Kosman shortly (1/2007).
